Modern vehicles shine with large glass surfaces, naturally to bring light into the interior and create a feeling of freedom and openness or to provide a good all-round view. However, the disadvantage of these positive features is that the vehicle heats up or the view into the interior is unobstructed. Passengers, such as children, also suffer from direct glare from the sun's rays, and the same applies to animals (dogs), for example.
Of course, more and more vehicles are being delivered with tinted windows as standard, but our sun protection also has considerable advantages over this feature. Because it also protects when the door windows are down, or can be installed and removed as required (so you have a clear view in winter, for example).
The sun, privacy and insect screen is an ideal addition to vehicles with air conditioning and an indispensable solution for cars without it, providing effective protection against the heat.
Often seen suction cup sun protection nets usually only partially cover the window areas or have to be constantly moved to protect your baby, children or other occupants from glare. In addition, the rear door windows, for example, can then no longer be lowered. Our sun protection offers effective protection even when the rear door windows are open (no film can do this).
The sun protection elements we offer are individually adapted or manufactured for each vehicle model. Special brackets inconspicuously secure the individual elements and ensure a perfect fit. In some cases, individual sunshade elements are held in place by the shape of the interior trim on the rear windows and side windows.
They are attached with clamps and, in rare cases, with adhesive holders; you can find out more in the installation instructions (see above). No screwing or drilling!
Even when the rear door windows are open, dazzling sunlight or insects have virtually no chance of entering the interior. Despite the effective privacy protection, the view from the inside to the outside is possible without any problems. The mesh covering, known from interior roller blinds, ensures this effect and the small dimensions of the mesh provide the best privacy protection from prying eyes in the interior.
Even when the side windows are fully retracted, the sun's rays and insects have virtually no chance of penetrating the passenger compartment. The use of our sun protection was tested with the door windows partially open up to approx. 130 km/h.
UV-A and UV-B protection
While the windshield in a car largely protects against UV-A and UV-B radiation, side windows allow UV-A radiation to pass through to a greater or lesser extent. UV-A radiation causes premature skin ageing and, in the worst case, skin cancer.

We have carried out our own measurement test in the rear of the vehicle to determine corresponding comparative data. Once without and once with sun protection fitted.
A fitted sunshade provides around 95% protection against harmful UV rays.

Installation is carried out using discreet clips, which can be inserted or glued.
The metal wire frame with flame-retardant covering is inserted and/or clamped in place using discreet retaining clips.
